Bleeding Haemorrhoid, Use of advanced BEIM technique.
A 23 yr old male came with giddiness, palpitaion and leg cramps. ON examination he had severe pallor. Clinical H/O fresh per rectal bleed since 6 months. Haemogram shows severe anemia with Hb- 6gm%. On per rectal examination there were bleeding haemorrhoid at 5, 7 and 11"o clock. He was immidiately admitted and 3 pints of blood (PCV) were infused. Operation was planned with advanced BEIM technique after Hb was 10gm%. Operativee was blood loss and done under regional anesthesia. Post operatively patient was immidiately discharged on next day with minimal post operative pain and no PR bleed. Routine procedure would have required a stay of post operative 3 days with mild to moderate blood loss
